The Granary
The Granary is a delightful conversion from the original grain store offering spacious cottage-living for two people. With its wood burner and private outside terrace, it is the perfect place to relax.
Indoors
On the ground floor, walk into a well appointed small hallway equipped with plenty of space for boots and coats then through into a gorgeous beamed sitting room with dining area and vintage style fitted kitchen. To one end, French doors open onto the private terrace – perfect for summer evenings – while in chillier months, a wood burning stove invites you to curl up in front of the fire with a good book or film.
Upstairs, exposed beams, high ceiling and double aspect windows make the bedroom beautifully bright and airy. Furnished with a large super king-sized bed, dressing table and vintage French wardrobe, it is a joy to wake in the mornings and listen to the sound of birdsong in the trees. At the top of the stairs, there is also a large shower room complete with a spacious walk-in shower, painted vintage washstand and wardrobe space.
Outdoors
Laid out with planting in a mix of pots and raised beds, the terrace is the perfect space to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine or chill in the evening with a glass of wine.
Direct access from the terrace to the garden makes it easy to keep damp feet and sand outside after a dip in the pool or salty days on the beach. There is also plenty of space to stack a surf board, dry off wetsuits or store a bike.

Arrival time
Like Mary Poppins with her carpet bag, we like to make sure that our cottages are spick and span for you at the start of your holiday. As it takes time to whisk away every vestige of dust and smooth every crease, please do not arrive any earlier than 17.00 hours on your first day.
Departure time
Although packing up at the end of a holiday can be a challenge, please make sure you have left us by 10:00 hours to give us time to prepare the cottages for our next guests.
